Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so this is the best place to avoid a wrong-product order.

The SDS is tied to the specific MyPerfectColor product and chemistry you order, not to the Bamboo 53172 color name by itself. If you need the SDS, look it up for the exact spray paint or other format you plan to buy.

Finish changes reflectivity, so the same match of Dulux Bamboo 53172 can look different once it is on the part. A glossier finish usually reflects more light, while a flatter finish reflects less, which can change how the color is perceived on the finished item.

Choose the sheen based on the object you are coating and the look of the surface you want to match, not just the color name alone.

Plastics vary widely, so the best approach is to test on the actual part before coating a full piece. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but using the MyPerfectColor primer can improve adhesion on difficult surfaces.

This matters for items such as PVC pipe, vents, grilles, covers, and other removable parts where a Bamboo 53172 match is needed.

Clean the metal, remove dirt, grease, rust, and loose coating, then scuff smooth or glossy areas before painting. If you are painting over an existing finish, the condition of that old coating can affect adhesion and the final appearance of Dulux Bamboo 53172.

Because gloss, texture, and surface condition all matter, test a small area first when the part will sit beside other finished surfaces.

MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to Dulux Bamboo which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Dulux Bamboo, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
