This is a warm, medium-depth brown with a soft red-orange undertone. It reads earthy rather than clean, with enough chroma to stay distinct without looking bright or harsh.
MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to 131 Rich Suede can be used on PVC pipe, vent covers, switch plates, shelf brackets, railings, mailbox parts, speaker grilles, and furniture accents where a brown finish is needed on a sprayable surface. It is also practical for metal, plastic, wood, and previously coated parts that need a consistent matched color across small components.
Because the color sits in a medium range, it usually covers more predictably than very light shades, but substrate color, texture, and existing sheen can still change how it reads. On glossy or uneven surfaces, the finish may appear slightly deeper or flatter depending on film build, so proper surface preparation and even spray application matter.

The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor paint product and its chemistry, not to the Dulux 131 Rich Suede color name alone. To review the Safety Data Sheet, use the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the product you are ordering.
Primer needs depend on the substrate, its condition, and the paint type you are applying. A primer usually does not hurt and can improve adhesion, but it is not always required. If the surface is slick, uneven, porous, or previously coated, follow the prep guidance for the selected MyPerfectColor product and consider a test area first.
Coverage depends on the size of the surface, texture, how much hiding power is needed, the application method, and how many coats you plan to apply. As a general guide, a typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat, while other paint formats often cover about 400 to 600 square feet. If the surface is rough, dark, or uneven, plan for extra material.
Dry-to-touch, recoat time, and full cure are different stages. Spray paint is usually dry to the touch within minutes, can typically be recoated in 1 to 2 hours, and is fully cured in about two weeks. Do not assume the finish is ready for heavy handling just because it feels dry.
Confirm the target color from a physical swatch or a known existing Dulux reference, not from screen color alone. MyPerfectColor matches the original brand color standard, so verifying the exact Dulux 131 Rich Suede reference before ordering helps reduce the risk of getting the wrong match. This matters even more if you are trying to coordinate with an existing painted surface, since age, sheen, and lighting can make it read differently.
MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the Dulux 131 Rich Suede in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.
Please note that if your material is not new then the paint may not work for touch up as your material has aged and is likely different than it was when new. While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Dulux 131 Rich Suede, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.
Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
