If you are comparing products, check the SDS for the exact MyPerfectColor format you plan to use so you have the correct safety information for that coating.

Use light, even coats and keep the can moving so you do not load too much paint in one spot. Hold a consistent distance, overlap each pass slightly, and avoid heavy passes that can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy build on Dulux 10K Stoneware.

This matters most on small parts, vents, brackets, hardware, trim pieces, and other removable items where spray application is practical. If the item has an odd shape or a different substrate, a test spray helps you see how the match lays down before you coat the full piece.

Finish changes how much light the coated surface reflects, so the same match of Dulux 10K Stoneware can read differently after spraying depending on sheen. A flatter finish usually looks less reflective, while a glossier finish reflects more light and can make the color appear different on the finished item.

If you are coating a part that will sit near other painted surfaces, try to match the sheen as well as the color reference. The color code alone does not define the finish, so the final appearance depends on both the matched color and the product sheen you order.

Start by cleaning the surface so dust, grease, and residue do not interfere with adhesion. If the surface is glossy or slick, light scuffing where appropriate can help the coating grip better. Mask off any areas you do not want painted before you spray Dulux 10K Stoneware.

Because adhesion can vary by material, test the match on the actual surface before doing the full job. That is especially useful on plastic, metal, or previously coated parts where prep needs can differ from one item to the next.

Choose the sheen based on how the item will be used and how much reflectivity you want on the finished surface. Lower sheen usually gives a less reflective look, while higher sheen is typically easier to wipe clean but will make the matched Dulux 10K Stoneware read differently.

If you are ordering for a part that needs to coordinate with an existing painted surface, matching the sheen is often as important as matching the color. For a new item or removable part, pick the finish that fits the wear, cleanup, and appearance needs of that specific project.

MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the Dulux 10K Stoneware in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.

MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to Dulux 10K Stoneware which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Dulux 10K Stoneware, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.

However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.

Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
