Coverage depends on the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you need. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other MyPerfectColor paints typically cover between 400 and 600 square feet, depending on the product and surface.

If the surface is rough, porous, dark, or already uneven, plan for extra material so you do not run short before the job is finished.

Use light, even coats rather than one heavy pass. Hold the can at a consistent distance, overlap each pass slightly, and keep the spray moving so the coating lands evenly.

Heavy passes can cause runs, uneven sheen, and a muddy-looking color build. Multiple lighter coats usually give you better control over how the matched Stone Grey finish looks on the item.

Yes, but surface prep matters. Clean off dirt, oil, wax, and other contamination first. If the metal has rust, loose paint, or a failing coating, address that before you spray.

On a sound existing coating, light scuffing usually helps the new coating adhere better. Keep in mind that gloss, texture, and the condition of the old surface can all change how Stone Grey reads after it is applied.

Choose the sheen based on the job, not just the color. Higher gloss finishes are usually easier to clean and more reflective, while lower gloss finishes reduce shine and can look less bold on the finished item.

Sheen also changes how Stone Grey appears on the part you are painting, so the same color can look different in matte, satin, or gloss. If the item will sit next to an existing painted surface, match the sheen as closely as you can when appearance matters.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.
