MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to 79-13 Afterglow is a light, low-chroma beige with a warm peach-gold cast. It reads soft rather than sharp, with a creamy warmth that stays restrained instead of looking vivid.

This makes it useful for spray-painted parts and small surfaces where a quiet warm neutral is needed, such as PVC pipe, vent covers, switch plates, return grilles, frames, light hardware, shelving brackets, railings, mailboxes, and fixture trim. It can also work for baskets, accessory housings, and removable inserts that need to coordinate with an existing painted part in the same warm range.

Because the color is fairly light, dark or uneven substrates can show through if coverage is thin, especially on edges and textured parts. The final appearance can shift slightly with finish, surface texture, and film build, so even prep and uniform coats matter on plastic, metal, and previously coated surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions About Match of Duron™ 79-13 Afterglow *

Do I need primer before ordering 79-13 Afterglow by Duron as a MyPerfectColor match?

Primer depends on the substrate, surface condition, and the paint type you choose for 79-13 Afterglow by Duron. If the surface is bare, patched, glossy, porous, or difficult to bond to, a primer can help adhesion and usually does not hurt the result.

For a MyPerfectColor match of 79-13 Afterglow, check the prep guidance for the specific product format you plan to buy, especially if you are painting plastic, metal, wood, or a previously coated item. A primer may also help the finish look more even when the existing surface is uneven or has show-through risk.

What should I confirm before ordering 79-13 Afterglow by Duron as a custom MyPerfectColor paint?

Before ordering 79-13 Afterglow by Duron, confirm the brand color reference, the MyPerfectColor product type, the sheen, and the quantity you need. MyPerfectColor is making a custom match to the selected brand color, not selling the original Duron paint line.

Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so it is important to verify the exact color reference and product details before placing the order. That is especially important if you need spray paint, a different finish, or enough material for more than one coat.

How much 79-13 Afterglow by Duron MyPerfectColor paint should I order for my project?

Coverage for 79-13 Afterglow by Duron depends on the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you expect to use. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other paints typically cover between 400 and 600 square feet.

For planning, measure the total area, then add extra if the surface is rough, porous, dark, uneven, or likely to need a second coat. That is the safest way to avoid running short on a custom match of 79-13 Afterglow.

Where can I find SDS information for 79-13 Afterglow by Duron in MyPerfectColor products?

SDS information for 79-13 Afterglow by Duron is tied to the specific MyPerfectColor paint product or chemistry, not the color name alone. If you need the Safety Data Sheet, look up the SDS for the exact MyPerfectColor product you are ordering.

MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets can be found on the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page. Use that product-level information when you need safety, handling, or compliance details for your order.

Will 79-13 Afterglow by Duron look exactly the same after I apply a MyPerfectColor match?

Even when 79-13 Afterglow by Duron is matched correctly, the finished look can still shift because of lighting, placement, sheen, texture, and nearby surfaces. A MyPerfectColor match is based on the selected color reference, but the applied item can read differently once it is on a real substrate.

This matters most on items that sit next to existing painted surfaces or in changing light. If your project is sensitive to appearance, plan for those viewing conditions before ordering a match of 79-13 Afterglow.
