Choose the finish based on how the item will be used, not just on the color name 76-18 Kaibu. A flatter finish usually reduces reflection and can hide small surface flaws better, while a glossier finish is typically easier to clean and may hold up better on parts that get handled often.

Keep in mind that the same match of 76-18 Kaibu can look different across sheens, so the finish you order will affect the final appearance on the part, fixture, or surface you are painting.

For 76-18 Kaibu in custom spray paint, plan on it being dry to the touch within minutes, ready for a recoat in about one to two hours, and fully cured in about two weeks. Those are different stages, so a surface can feel dry before it is ready for full use.
