Match of Sherwin Williams™ 76445 *

Coverage depends on the size of the part, the surface texture, the hiding power needed, the application method, and how many coats you expect to apply. As a general planning rule, a typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat.

If you are coating a larger project or a rough surface, plan extra material because 76445 may take more than one coat for even coverage. For other MyPerfectColor paint formats, typical coverage is often about 400 to 600 square feet per gallon, but the exact amount still depends on the project and surface.

The right sheen for Sherwin Williams 76445 depends on how the part will be used. Higher sheen finishes are usually easier to clean and may offer more durability, while lower sheen finishes reduce reflectivity. The gloss level also changes how the matched color reads on the finished item.

If you are coating a part that will sit next to an existing painted surface, choose the sheen carefully because the same 76445 color can look different in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss. The color code alone does not define the finish, so you need to order the sheen that fits the application.

Yes, but plastics vary widely, so preparation matters. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but you should test the actual material first because some plastics need different prep or a primer to improve adhesion.

For a better bond on difficult plastic surfaces, use the MyPerfectColor primer recommended for acrylic enamel. Clean the part well, make sure it is dry, and verify compatibility on the actual substrate before finishing the full project.

Before you order Sherwin Williams 76445, confirm the brand color reference, the MyPerfectColor product type, the sheen, and the quantity you need. A custom-matched color is made to match the selected brand color reference, not to replace the original brand's own paint product.

That matters because custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable. If you are ordering spray paint for a part, fixture, or removable component, make sure the format and finish are right before you place the order.

The SDS is tied to the actual MyPerfectColor product and chemistry, not to the Sherwin Williams 76445 color name by itself. That means the correct Safety Data Sheet depends on the product format you order.

To find it, use the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page and look for the SDS that matches the specific product you purchased. If you change formats, check again because the SDS can be different for each product type.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Sherwin Williams 76445, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.

However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.

Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
