A match of Para Paints B409-1 Light Amber is a light, warm amber with a clear golden-yellow cast. It reads brighter than a muted tan and has enough chroma to look distinctly amber rather than beige, while still staying soft rather than saturated.
MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected brand color can be used on small parts where a warm amber finish is needed, such as vent covers, switch plates, outlet covers, speaker grilles, mailbox details, light fixture parts, shelf brackets, frames, hardware, baskets, and PVC trim pieces. It is also useful for painted accessories or removable components that need to coordinate with a known brand color reference.
Because this is a relatively light color, darker or uneven substrates can show through if coverage is thin, so primer and film build matter on plastic, metal, or previously coated parts. The color can also read a little brighter or a little softer depending on sheen and texture, and outdoor exposure may gradually make warm yellow-orange tones look lighter over time.

Yes. A match of Para Paints B409-1 Light Amber can be ordered as MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected brand color reference, which is a practical option for baskets, frames, shelving, decor pieces, and other small items where spray application is easier than brushing.
Use it when you want the object itself to coordinate to this color, not when you are trying to buy the original Para Paints product. If the item is metal, plastic, wood, wicker, or an older coated piece, surface preparation still matters for how the match will look after application.
For B409-1 Light Amber, clean the surface first so dust, grease, and other contamination do not interfere with adhesion. If the part is metal, remove rust and loose material before coating. If you are painting over an existing finish, scuff glossy or smooth areas so the new spray paint can bond better.
The condition of the old coating matters as much as the color match. A sound, well-prepped surface gives you a more reliable result than spraying over peeling paint, rust, or unknown contamination.
Not exactly. The same B409-1 Light Amber color reference can read differently in matte, satin, or gloss because the finish changes how light reflects off the surface. That can make the color look deeper, lighter, or more saturated even when the underlying match is the same.
If you are trying to coordinate a new part with an existing painted item, match the finish as well as the color whenever possible. The color code alone does not define sheen, so finish selection is part of getting the result you expect.

For B409-1 Light Amber in spray paint form, dry-to-touch time is typically within minutes. Recoat is usually in 1 to 2 hours, and full cure is about 2 weeks.
Those milestones are different. A part may feel dry quickly but still need much more time before it is ready for heavy handling, assembly, or service use.
MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the Para Paints B409-1 Light Amber in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.
Please note that if your material is not new then the paint may not work for touch up as your material has aged and is likely different than it was when new. While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the Para Paints B409-1 Light Amber, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.
Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
