Let each coat flash before adding the next one. Dry time depends on film thickness, temperature, humidity, and the surface you are coating, so follow the product instructions for the specific MyPerfectColor format you order.

Clean the surface first so dirt, oil, and contamination do not interfere with adhesion. On metal, remove rust and loose material, then scuff any glossy areas so the new coating can grip. If there is an older coating, make sure it is sound and not peeling before you apply a match of Dulux Caisson Green 45595.

Gloss, texture, and the condition of the old finish can change how the new color reads. If the existing coating is unknown or questionable, test a small area first or use the prep step that best fits the substrate before ordering the final amount.

Plastics and other low-energy surfaces vary a lot, so test on the actual material before coating the full item. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but prep and primer can make a major difference on slippery or hard-to-bond surfaces.

For better adhesion, use the MyPerfectColor primer for Acrylic Enamel before applying Dulux Caisson Green 45595. That is especially important on items such as plastic covers, trim parts, grilles, or other molded pieces where surface energy can affect how the coating holds up.

Coverage depends on surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you need. If you are ordering spray paint, a typical can covers about 20 square feet with one coat. That is only a planning estimate, not a guarantee for every surface.

For other MyPerfectColor paint formats, coverage is typically about 400 to 600 square feet per gallon, again depending on the project. Rough, porous, or dark surfaces usually need more material than smooth, sealed, or lighter ones, so plan extra if you expect more than one coat of Dulux Caisson Green 45595.

Choose the finish based on how the item will be used and how much reflectivity you want. Gloss level changes more than appearance alone: it also affects durability, cleanup, and how noticeable surface texture or flaws may be after coating.

A higher-gloss finish can make the matched color look more reflective, while a lower-sheen finish reduces reflectivity but still shows the character of the substrate. If you are trying to coordinate with an existing painted part, try to match both the color reference and the sheen level as closely as possible.
