Choose the sheen based on how the item will be used and how much reflection you want. Lower sheens usually hide surface marks better and reduce glare, while higher sheens are easier to wipe clean and can make the same Rose Petal match look a little deeper or more reflective on the finished part.

If you are coating more than one item, keep the sheen consistent so the finish does not change how the match reads from part to part.

Verify the target color from a physical Dulux swatch or another known existing reference, not from a screen image alone. MyPerfectColor matches to the original brand color standard, so the target needs to be confirmed before you order.

If you are matching a painted part that has aged, compare carefully because wear, fading, and sheen can make the existing item look different from the original color standard.

The SDS is tied to the specific MyPerfectColor paint product and chemistry, not to the Sears Rose Petal 26243 color name alone. To get the correct Safety Data Sheet, use the SDS information for the exact product you are ordering.

Plastics vary widely, so Sears Rose Petal 26243 should be tested on the actual material before you commit to the full project. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but surface type and prep can change the result.

If you want better adhesion on a challenging substrate, use the MyPerfectColor primer for acrylic enamel or the primer recommended for your project. A test spot is the safest way to confirm adhesion and appearance on the real part.

Plan around the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and the number of coats you expect to need. A typical can of MyPerfectColor spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat, while other MyPerfectColor paint formats typically cover about 400 to 600 square feet.

Rough, porous, or dark substrates can use more paint, so it is safer to round up if you are not sure.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
