Match of ICI™ Light's Out *

Finish changes how Light's Out ICI 344629 reflects light, so the same color can look different in matte, satin, or gloss. Lower sheen usually hides surface texture better, while higher sheen reflects more light and can make the color read differently on the finished item.

If you are matching an existing coated part, try to match the sheen as closely as possible. If you are coating a new part, choose the finish based on how much reflection, cleanability, and durability the item needs.

The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor product made to match Light's Out ICI 344629, not to the color name by itself. Look up the Safety Data Sheets for the specific MyPerfectColor paint product you plan to order.

Primer depends on the substrate, its condition, and the type of paint system you are using. As a rule of thumb, primer never hurts and can improve adhesion, but it is not always required.

Primer is often worth using on bare, patched, porous, glossy, slick, or otherwise difficult surfaces. For the best result, check the prep guidance for the specific MyPerfectColor product matched to Light's Out ICI 344629 and test on the actual material when the surface is unfamiliar.

Choose the finish for Light's Out ICI 344629 based on how the item will be used, not just on the color name. Lower sheen finishes usually reduce reflection and help hide small surface flaws, while higher sheen finishes are easier to wipe down and will make the color look more reflective.

If the painted item will sit next to an existing surface, matching the existing sheen is usually the safest choice. If you are painting a removable part or a new part, pick the finish that fits the wear, cleanup, and appearance needs of that object.

Use light, even coats when spraying MyPerfectColor match of Light's Out ICI 344629. Keep the can moving, overlap passes consistently, and avoid heavy application that can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a cloudy build.

Let each coat dry as directed before adding the next one. On small parts such as vents, hardware, PVC, fixtures, or trim pieces, thin coats usually produce a more even finish than trying to cover everything in one pass.

MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to ICI Light's Out which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.
