A match of ICI Horizons reads as a very light blue-gray with a soft, cool undertone and low saturation. It has a quiet, slightly cloudy look rather than a crisp or vivid blue, and the high lightness keeps it from feeling heavy.
MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to Horizons works well on small parts and details that need to coordinate without drawing attention. It is a practical choice for HVAC vents, switch covers, speaker grilles, access panels, PVC pipe, railings, brackets, shelving pieces, mailboxes, shutters, and hardware where spray application makes it easier to cover edges, cutouts, and irregular shapes.
Because Horizons is so light, coverage over dark, uneven, or patched substrates can take extra attention. A uniform primer or a well-prepared base can help reduce show-through, and the final appearance can shift with surface texture and sheen, which may make the color look a little cleaner or a little grayer depending on the finish.

Confirm ICI Horizons from a physical swatch or another known original-brand color reference, not from a screen image alone. MyPerfectColor makes a custom match to the selected brand color reference, so the most reliable check is a real sample or an existing item you can compare in person. If you only have a digital view of ICI Horizons, the approval risk is higher because monitors and phones can shift the color.
The color match can stay the same, but ICI Horizons can read differently after application depending on finish. Matte, satin, and gloss change how much light reflects off the surface, which can make the same color look flatter or deeper. If the part has to coordinate with an existing painted item, choose the finish carefully so you are matching both the color and the sheen as closely as possible.
Yes. A match of ICI Horizons can be ordered as MyPerfectColor custom spray paint for many small parts where a sprayed finish is practical, including switch covers, vents, speaker grilles, knobs, brackets, trim pieces, and similar items. This is a good format when you need a repeatable color on removable or small surfaces. Make sure the part is cleaned and prepared for the substrate before spraying.
The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor product and its chemistry, not to the ICI Horizons color name by itself. You can find MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets here: https://www.myperfectcolor.com/Safety-Data-Sheets/33970.htm. If you need the SDS for a specific format, check the exact product listing for that paint type.
Primer needs depend on the substrate, its condition, and the paint format you selected for ICI Horizons. Primer is often helpful on bare, slick, porous, damaged, or difficult surfaces because it can improve adhesion and help the finish build more evenly. It is not always required, so use the prep guidance for the specific MyPerfectColor product and test on a small area when the surface is unfamiliar.
MyPerfectColor has an original sample of the ICI Horizons in its color archive. This enables us to make paint and verify that it matches the original.
Please note that if your material is not new then the paint may not work for touch up as your material has aged and is likely different than it was when new. MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to ICI Horizons which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.
MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the ICI Horizons, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Related Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the company you want.
Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
