Match of ICI™ Heat Wave *

The SDS is tied to the specific MyPerfectColor product or chemistry you order, not to the ICI Heat Wave color name alone. Check the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the exact product format you plan to use before starting work. If you switch between spray paint and another format, review the SDS for that exact item.

Use light, even coats and keep the can moving so you do not build too much paint in one pass. Overlap passes slightly, hold a steady distance, and avoid heavy wet coats that can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy looking build. This matters most on small parts like vents, grilles, hardware, PVC trim, or removable fixtures. Let each coat dry per the product directions before applying the next coat.

Plan coverage based on the actual surface, not the color name alone. Surface size, texture, porosity, prep, application method, hiding power, and the number of coats all affect how much you need. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other MyPerfectColor paints often cover about 400 to 600 square feet, but the right amount for Heat Wave 344532 depends on your project and how much hiding you need. If the surface is rough, dark, or uneven, allow extra product.

Even when the match is correct, the finished item can read differently after it is applied. Lighting, sheen, surface texture, substrate color, film thickness, and nearby surfaces all affect how Heat Wave 344532 appears. This is especially important on parts installed beside an existing painted surface or in very different lighting than the original reference. If appearance is critical, view the finished piece in the location where it will be used.

Confirm Heat Wave 344532 from a physical swatch or a known existing original-brand color reference before you order. MyPerfectColor matches the selected brand color reference, so screen images alone are not the safest way to choose the color. If the new part must coordinate with an existing ICI-painted item, verify the target color first so you are ordering the right match.

MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to ICI Heat Wave which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the ICI Heat Wave, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
