It works best on parts that can be cleaned and properly prepped. If the item will sit next to other finished pieces, test on the actual part first so you can confirm the look after application.

Coverage depends on the size of the item, surface texture, hiding power, spray method, and how many coats are needed. As a general guide, one can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat.

If you are painting small parts like vents or hardware, one can may cover several items. Rough, porous, or dark surfaces can use more paint, especially if you need more than one coat.

MyPerfectColor spray paint can stick well to most plastics, but plastics vary a lot, so testing on the actual part is the safest way to confirm adhesion and appearance.

For better adhesion on plastic or other difficult surfaces, use the MyPerfectColor primer before applying the Golden Nectar by ICI color match. That is especially helpful on slick or low-energy surfaces and on parts that will be handled often.

It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the ICI Golden Nectar, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
