Finish matters because it changes durability, cleanup, and how reflective the color looks on the finished item. A flatter finish will read differently than a glossier one, even when the color match is the same. If the part will be handled often or needs easier wiping, choose the finish that fits that use case instead of relying on the color name alone.

Confirm ICI Calico from a physical swatch, a known existing painted sample, or another trusted brand reference before you place the order. Do not rely on screen color alone, since displays can shift the appearance of the color.

MyPerfectColor matches to the original brand color standard for ICI Calico, so it is important to verify the target color first. That helps avoid ordering a match for the wrong reference.

Start with a clean, dry surface. Remove dirt, grease, and loose coating, then lightly scuff the area if the surface and project allow it. Mask any areas that should not be coated.

MyPerfectColor offers custom spray paint matched to ICI Calico which enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish. It is difficult to gauge spray paint coverage because it depends on how you apply it and the amount of overspray, but generally the 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat.

MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. This paint sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.

While MyPerfectColor can provide paint matched to the ICI Calico, we don't provide any crossover information because this is a subjective determination. Every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another company's color collection, so determining which color is the best approximation is a judgement call.
