Keep in mind that the condition of the old coating can affect the final look of a match of 1V2A Verve. Gloss, texture, and surface wear can make the same color read differently, so a stable and well-prepared surface gives the best result.

Finish changes how much light the surface reflects, so the same match of 1V2A Verve can look different in matte, satin, semi-gloss, or gloss. A higher sheen usually looks brighter and can make surface texture or flaws more visible. A lower sheen reduces reflection and can mute that effect.
