Step 1: Select Paint Type / Application

A match of Behr PPF-33 Terrace Taupe reads as a muted, medium-light taupe with a warm gray-beige base and a subtle yellow-green undertone. It has low chroma, so the color stays quiet rather than looking bright or sharply colored.

MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected brand color can be used on practical parts and accessories where a calm neutral is needed. It is a useful choice for vents, switch covers, speaker grilles, railings, brackets, shelf supports, mailbox parts, hardware, and PVC trim pieces, especially when those items need to coordinate with an existing painted surface without drawing attention to the component itself.

Because this is a subdued color rather than a vivid one, it generally hides more evenly than stronger accent colors. Even so, substrate color, texture, and finish can change how it reads, and darker or uneven surfaces may still require additional coats for full coverage. Gloss level can also make surface imperfections and sheen differences more noticeable.

For best results, apply it to properly prepared metal, plastic, wood, or previously coated parts in thin, even coats and allow the film to build gradually. Finish choice and spray technique can shift the apparent depth of the color, so a test spray on the actual material is useful on project-critical parts.

Frequently Asked Questions About Match of Behr™ PPF-33 Terrace Taupe *

Where can I find the SDS for PPF-33 Terrace Taupe by Behr?

For PPF-33 Terrace Taupe, the SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor product or chemistry you order, not to the Behr color name by itself. Use the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the specific product format you plan to buy.

If you need the page for this color, check MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets and verify it matches the product type you are ordering.

Will PPF-33 Terrace Taupe by Behr look the same in matte and gloss?

No. The same match of PPF-33 Terrace Taupe can read differently in matte versus gloss because finish changes how much light is reflected and how deep the color appears. That means the color code can stay the same while the finished look changes.

If you need the new coating to coordinate with an existing painted item, compare the sheen as well as the color reference before you order.

Can PPF-33 Terrace Taupe by Behr be used on plastic parts?

Yes, MyPerfectColor spray paint matched to PPF-33 Terrace Taupe can be used on many plastic parts, but plastics vary and prep matters. Test on the actual material first because surface type can affect adhesion and final appearance.

MyPerfectColor primer can help improve adhesion on plastics and other difficult surfaces. For best results, clean the part well and follow the product prep steps before spraying.

What should I confirm before ordering PPF-33 Terrace Taupe by Behr from MyPerfectColor?

Before ordering a match of PPF-33 Terrace Taupe, confirm the color reference, the MyPerfectColor product type, the finish, and the quantity you need. This helps avoid ordering the wrong format for your project.

Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so it is important to verify the details before placing the order.

How should I spray PPF-33 Terrace Taupe by Behr for a smoother finish?

Apply MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to PPF-33 Terrace Taupe in light, even coats from a consistent distance. Keep your passes overlapping and avoid heavy wet passes, since those can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy-looking build.

Let each coat dry or flash according to the product directions before applying the next coat. Thin, controlled coats usually give a more even result than trying to cover the part in one pass.

How do I convert Behr PPF-33 Terrace Taupe to a different color from another paint company?

While we can provide Behr PPF-33 Terrace Taupe in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another brand.

However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the brand you want.

Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
