MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected C2 color reference, C2-3121 Filtered, is a very light, low-chroma cream-beige with a soft yellow cast. It reads as a restrained off-white rather than a clear cream, with enough warmth to stay muted and a faint earthy undertone that keeps it from looking stark.
This color is useful for spray-painted parts that need to blend into a light architectural finish without standing out. It can be applied to vents, switch plates, speaker grilles, access panels, shelf brackets, PVC pipe, mailbox hardware, shutter components, and other small fixtures or trim pieces where a pale neutral finish is the goal.
Because the color is so light, darker or uneven substrates can show through more easily, especially on plastic, metal, or older painted parts. A consistent base coat and even spray film help it cover more uniformly, and the final sheen can make the warm cast read either softer or a little more visible.

Yes, but plastic varies a lot, so the safe approach is to test C2-3121 Filtered on the actual plastic first. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to many plastics, but some surfaces need better prep than others. For better adhesion, use the MyPerfectColor primer made for acrylic enamel before applying the color match, especially if the part is slick or hard to bond to.
If you are coating a PVC fitting, trim piece, cover, or other molded part, clean it well, prepare the surface according to the product directions, and confirm the result on a small hidden area before painting the full item.
Yes. A match of C2-3121 Filtered can be ordered as MyPerfectColor custom spray paint for projects like baskets, frames, shelving, furniture accents, hardware, and other small items where spray application is practical.
This is a match of C2-3121 Filtered made by MyPerfectColor, not the original C2 paint product. If your project has mixed materials or removable parts, spray paint is often the easiest way to keep the color consistent across the full item.
Not always. Even when the color match is correct, C2-3121 Filtered can read differently after application depending on lighting, placement, sheen, and nearby surfaces. That is normal for a finished coating.
If the item will sit next to an existing painted surface, check it in the same light where it will be used. A color match that looks right on a sample card can still appear a little different once it is on the final part and viewed under the actual lighting conditions.
Choose the finish based on how the item will be used, how much reflection you want, and how durable the coating needs to be. With C2-3121 Filtered, the sheen you select can change how the color reads on the finished part even when the color match itself is correct.
If the project needs lower reflectivity, a flatter finish may be easier to live with. If cleanup and a more reflective look matter more, a higher sheen may be the better ordering choice. The code C2-3121 Filtered does not by itself define the finish, so order the sheen that fits the project rather than assuming the color name includes it.
Use light, even coats and keep the can moving so the color builds gradually. For C2-3121 Filtered, hold a consistent distance, overlap each pass slightly, and avoid heavy wet passes that can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy-looking build.
Let each coat dry as directed before adding the next one. Dry time and final appearance can change with temperature, humidity, surface prep, and how much paint you apply, so a few thin coats are usually safer than one thick coat.
