The same match of Ace D3-2 Satisfaction can look different after application depending on the finish. Gloss levels change how much light reflects off the coating, and that can make the color read a little lighter, darker, or more pronounced on the finished part.

If you are coating items such as trim pieces, vents, hardware, or grilles, confirm the sheen as part of the order. The color reference does not by itself define the finish, so the sheen choice is a practical part of getting the result you want.

Coverage depends on the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you need. A typical can of spray paint covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other paint formats typically cover between 400 and 600 square feet, but that is still only a planning estimate.

For small parts like PVC pipe, brackets, switch covers, or fixture pieces, total surface area is usually the best way to estimate quantity. If the surface is rough, porous, or dark, plan for additional material so you do not run short before the job is finished.

Before ordering, confirm the Ace D3-2 Satisfaction color reference, the MyPerfectColor product type, the sheen, and the quantity you need. MyPerfectColor is supplying its own paint matched to that color reference, not the original Ace paint.

Custom-made color matches are not returnable or refundable, so it is important to verify the details before you place the order. That matters most when the paint is being used on a project where a repeat order or consistent finish is important.

Start by cleaning the surface, removing grease or residue, and making sure loose paint or debris is gone. Light scuffing is appropriate on some surfaces, and masking helps protect nearby areas from overspray or accidental paint buildup.

Plastics vary widely, so a test on the actual material is the safest way to confirm performance. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but using the MyPerfectColor primer can improve adhesion on challenging substrates.
