A match of Sico 3168-22 Bleu Sixtine is a muted blue-green with a cool lean and a clear gray cast. With medium-deep value and low chroma, it reads more subdued than a bright teal and more colored than a plain gray-blue.
MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to the selected brand color can be useful for vents, return grilles, switch covers, access panels, speaker grilles, brackets, railings, mailbox parts, shelving supports, and PVC trim pieces. This shade works well on small sprayable parts where a restrained blue-green finish is needed without adding a vivid accent look.
Because the color is moderately dark and relatively quiet, it often covers in a controlled way, but substrate and finish still affect the result. A smooth primed surface can help it read even and consistent, while rough plastic, bare metal, or a contrasting old coating may show through more readily. Sheen level also matters: glossier finishes can make texture and spray pattern more noticeable, while flat or satin finishes tend to soften that effect.

Yes, but plastics vary a lot, so the safest approach is to test on the actual part first. MyPerfectColor spray paint is made to stick well to most plastics, but some low-energy plastics need extra prep to hold the coating reliably.
If the plastic is difficult or the part will be handled often, use the MyPerfectColor primer for Acrylic Enamel to improve adhesion before applying 3168-22 Bleu Sixtine. Clean the surface first and test a small area before coating the full item.
Choose the finish based on how the part will be used, how much cleanup it needs, and how reflective you want the final surface to be. Higher gloss usually wipes down more easily and reflects more light. Lower gloss is less reflective and can make the same matched color read a little differently on the finished item.
Because sheen changes the way 3168-22 Bleu Sixtine appears after it is applied, pick the finish that fits the application first, then keep the sheen consistent on all parts you want to match.
Clean the surface thoroughly first so you are not painting over dust, oil, wax, or other contamination. On metal, also check for rust or corrosion and remove anything loose before coating. If you are painting over an existing finish, scuff it so the new coating has something to grip.
The condition of the old coating, along with its gloss and texture, can affect how 3168-22 Bleu Sixtine looks after application. If the old finish is peeling, chalky, or otherwise failing, address that before you paint.
Once 3168-22 Bleu Sixtine is applied, lighting, placement, sheen, and nearby surfaces can change how the match reads. A part may look a little different in bright light, dim light, or when viewed next to other painted items.
If the finished item will sit beside an older painted surface, the age and wear of that surface can also make the new coating appear different even when the color match itself is correct. This is normal and should be considered before approving the final result.
