Match of Pratt and Lambert™ 2219 Malta Mist *

The SDS is tied to the MyPerfectColor paint product matched to 2219 Malta Mist, not to the Pratt and Lambert color name by itself. Check the MyPerfectColor Safety Data Sheets page for the exact product format you plan to use, and review it before handling or spraying the paint.

For 2219 Malta Mist, start with a clean surface, remove dust and grease, and scuff lightly when the substrate calls for it. Mask adjacent areas, then test the match on the actual item before painting the full part. That is especially useful on metal, plastic, wood, or previously coated surfaces where adhesion and appearance can vary.

When spraying 2219 Malta Mist, use light, even coats and keep the gun or can at a consistent distance from the surface. Overlap passes slightly and avoid heavy wet coats, which can cause runs, uneven sheen, or a muddy color build. If you are coating vents, hardware, pipe, or trim pieces, a few controlled passes usually gives better results than trying to cover in one coat.

Confirm the color reference, product format, sheen, and quantity for 2219 Malta Mist before ordering, because MyPerfectColor custom-matched items are made to order. Once a color-matched product is produced, it is generally not returnable or refundable, so it is best to verify the details first if you need a spray can or another format.

The finish you choose for 2219 Malta Mist changes how the color will read on the finished item. Higher sheen reflects more light and can make the same color look different than a flatter finish, especially on smooth or curved parts. If the item will sit near an existing painted surface, keep in mind that matching the color name does not eliminate sheen or substrate differences.
