A match of Behr B-7 Pacific Blue reads as a light, muted blue with a cool cast and a slight gray-green undertone. With moderate lightness and low chroma, it looks soft rather than vivid, and the color can shift a bit with finish and substrate.
MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to this color is well suited to smaller parts where a subdued blue finish is needed, such as HVAC vents, switch plates, speaker grilles, access panels, cabinet hardware, shelving brackets, mailboxes, railings, and PVC trim pieces. It can also be used on frames, baskets, and other accessories when you want a uniform sprayed finish on an item that is easy to coat evenly.
Because this is a light color with low chroma, it usually covers more cleanly than a saturated blue, but darker or uneven substrates can still show through if the film build is thin. Surface texture and sheen can change how cool or gray it reads, so a smooth, well-prepared surface will give the most consistent result.

Coverage depends on the surface size, texture, hiding power, application method, and how many coats you plan to apply. For a typical spray paint project, one can covers about 20 square feet with one coat. Other paint formats usually cover about 400 to 600 square feet, depending on the job.
If you are coating a large part or a surface with texture, plan extra material so you do not run short before the final coat is complete.
The color match is only one part of the order. Sheen affects reflectivity, cleanup, durability, and how the matched color will read on the finished item.
If you are coating a part that will sit next to an existing painted surface, try to match the sheen as closely as possible because gloss level can make the same color look different.
For spray paint, dry to touch usually happens within minutes, recoating is typically done in one to two hours, and full cure takes about two weeks.
Do not treat dry to touch as fully cured. If you need more than one coat, wait long enough between coats so the finish can set up properly before handling.
Clean the surface first so dirt, oil, and contamination do not interfere with adhesion. On metal, remove rust and loose material, and scuff glossy areas so the new coating can bond better.
If you are painting over an existing finish, remember that the condition, texture, and gloss of the old coating can affect both adhesion and how the final color reads. Test a small area first when the existing surface is uneven or aged.
Plastics vary widely, so it is important to test the actual part before starting the full project. MyPerfectColor spray paint sticks well to most plastics, but prep and primer can improve adhesion on difficult materials.
For better results on challenging plastics, use the MyPerfectColor primer for Acrylic Enamel and follow a test application on the exact surface you plan to paint.
MyPerfectColor uses an acrylic enamel which is a fast-drying durable coating suitable for interior or exterior use. MyPerfectColor custom spray paint matched to Behr B-7 Pacific Blue enables you to conveniently achieve a professional spray-smooth finish in any color in any sheen. It sticks well to most surfaces including metal, plastics, powder-coatings, cabinets and primed or previously painted wood.
The MyPerfectColor 11oz spray will cover about 20 square feet per coat. Keep in mind that it is difficult to gauge spray paint need as the coverage is highly dependent on how it is applied. Learn more about how spray paint works at MyPerfectColor.

While we can provide Behr B-7 Pacific Blue in paint, we don't provide any crossover information. We've found that every paint company offers its own unique selection of colors and rarely does a color have an exact equivalent in another brand.
However, under the color image on a color page there is a link that says "Explore Colors". Clicking this link displays colors with similar values and you can look for any colors from the brand you want.
Keep in mind that this just shows similar colors based on the color values we have stored in our database. It doesn't mean it is the same or give any approximation about how close the color is. You can play around with the Hue, Lightness and Chroma sliders to expand the selection.
