Faux paint combination for dining room

We have Benjamin Moore Louisburg green in our dining room and want to use that as the base for a faux design with a matching green, brown or tan - probably either color washing or ragging. Any suggestions for a color combination ?

Hi,

There are several suggestions. Have you thought of using a gold? A light gold glaze to color wash over the green?

As for the green, the Historical Color series of Benjamin Moore has separate colors not varied values of the same color. However, if you prefer My Perfect Color offers an option as you are about to check out to lighten your Louisburg green. If you want to have a green that matches then order Louisburg green in a lighter version to wash and rag over the darker green.

These are extra ideas you may want to consider for color. Highly recommend using a glaze.

Hopefully the gold will work and these colors inspire your project. Please remember to sample due to lighting conditions, your furniture, and every other element in your home. Good luck on your project.

Sincerely,
