Paint color

Need help finding a color for my shorehouse that' just had all new Sheetrock putnup from storm. Sofa is stripe lt blue beige white. Floor is going to be grayish/tan wood. Someone suggested revere pewter. Seems light. Help

Hi,
Thanks for your question. Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/102897_Benjamin-Moore-HC-172-Revere-Pewter is considered a mid-range color. On a Light Reflectance Value scale of 1-100 (dark to light,) Revere Pewter comes in at 52, right in the middle. It's lovely and rich, and is considered one of the most popular Benjamin Moore Paint Colors. If you're considering a warm gray/beige, you'll want to sample it to see if it works in your room. Colors can often look darker once they're on a wall, so testing is crucial.

Here are a few other paint ideas to consider and sample (I think that something similar to Revere Pewter would be a great choice, given the other colors in the room.)

Benjamin Moore Rocky Beach http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/378824_Benjamin-Moore-CSP-190-rocky-beach

Benjamin Moore Urban Sophisticate CSP-160 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/378818_Benjamin-Moore-CSP-160-urban-sophisticate

Benjamin Moore Huntington Beige HC-21 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/5986_Benjamin-Moore-HC-21-Huntington-Beige

Hope this is helpful. If you have any specific colors in mind, I can make more suggestions.
