I love the color Lyndhurst Timber. Im looking for two more colors to go with it. I have a open concept so I need one for the hall and one for small kitchen

Thanks for your question. Lyndhurst Timber is a nice warm neutral that works with a variety of other neutrals. Here are some paint color ideas for your kitchen and hall. I'll separate them out by room, because halls usually benefit from a lighter color, but once you sample your favorites, you may decide to use them differently:

Match of Valspar Down Feathers

Match of Valspar Dreamy Yellow

Match of Valspar Cocoa Creamy

Match of Valspar Sunlit White

Match of Valspar Whipped Cream Topping

Match of Valspar Tranquil Cream

Hope this is helpful! If you have a particular color in mind, or have a photo to upload to help in selection, please feel free to reply to the conversation.

Hi Diana,
Thank you so much! I will look into those colors tonight. I'm not sure about the Lyndhurst Timber now. I got a sample of it and on my walls its a dark brown. I have a light cream leather couch, so I'm trying to have a little color. I would like to have something to where I can pull a maroon color. This is so not my thing! I've been stressed because we need to move in.

I totally understand your point about the Lyndhurst Timber being too dark. Sometimes what looks good on a paint chip or online, does something else entirely on a wall, based on the lighting and other surfaces. Hoping that the other colors I've suggested will work in your home.

You've mentioned wanting to pull in a maroon color, and I'm assuming as an accent around the room, not a paint color. The colors above are neutral enough to work with maroon. As an alternative to Lyndhurst Timber, you may want to consider sampling these:

Match of Valspart Soft Leaf

Match of Valspar Cobble Drive

Match of Valspar Chowder

Hope this helps! I know how stressful it can get trying to get color on the wall before you move in. Let me know if you need more color suggestions, or have questions.
