Exterior Paint Color Scheme and Window Question

I wrote the same questions last night, but do not think it was properly uploaded so trying again and apologize if this is a dublicate. First question. We are considering changing the aluminum windows to vinyl and have two color choices, a light tan and white. What would you recommend. Secondly, do you have a new color scheme recommendation for the door, shutters and trim. The brick actually is on the pink side, but does not show that way in the bright sunlight. I would prefer to use a Benhamin Moore paint.

Thank you so much for sharing the photos! I absolutely love shutters on a brick home. You could go with either the white or light tan for the windows, dependent upon the color scheme you choose for everything else.

The black shutters look handsome on your home, so I'll suggest a few colors you can use that work with the shutters, as they are now, as well as a scheme with new a new shutter color.

If you use the existing shutter color: Choose the light tan windows, then match the trim color to the windows, which could be Benjamin Moore Muslin

The door in that scheme could be something a rich green: Benjamin Moore Wethersfield Moss

If you would like a new look, including the shutters. Here is another idea for you. Choose the white windows, leave the trim white on your home. For the shutters, try: Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue, and the front door in a welcoming color: Benjamin Moore Concord Ivory or a more classic gray/blue Benjamin Moore Winter Lake

Though red or russet doors are a classic choice for traditional homes, especially with dark shutters, combined with the brick it would be overwhelming.

Hope this is helpful! Please don't hesitate to ask follow up questions, especially if you have a particular color in mind.

I LOVE these suggestions and while I would normally pick an option with blue in mind, somehow see the tan and wethersfield moss as lovely under our large oak trees. Please help with one more question - which would be the best type of paint for the door (enamel/semi) and trim? We will follow your suggestions. Truly, thank you.

I'm so glad that my suggestions were helpful! I have most often used an exterior semi-gloss for a front door, and also for trim. Once you sample and choose your colors, I'd love to see an 'after' photo posted here.

Thank you,
