Red brick 1940 house exterior trim, door, and cinderblock small porch

Trim is white, and I live in the Deep South, where the heat is intense. so I want to keep the trim color light/and door color, as well. I also have two front aluminum awnings, which are canary yellow (there are yellow flecks in the brick), and was thinking of painting the trim yellow and the front porch/stoop, which is now an ugly muddy red, a dark green. My front door is also white, but I don't know what color to use for it. My roof is dark gray/black. Thanks! Bridget

Hi, Your house is very sweet with the awnings! I think your ideas are great, and I can suggest colors for you to sample within those ideas. If your trim and awning will be yellow, and your porch will be dark green, I think a fun light green would be nice for the front door. A light green would keep things looking cool in the summer heat. I don't think I'd try to match your trim exactly to the awnings, but you can choose a color that works well with them and is lighter, but still yellow.

Here are some ideas for the trim:

Benjamin Moore Fresh Air 211

Benjamin Moore Falling Star 351

Benjamin Moore Lemonade 2024-60

For the porch:

Benjamin Moore Webster Green HC-130

Benjamin Moore Lafayette Green HC-135

And the door:

Benjamin Moore Waren Acres 527

Benjamin Moore Mint Julep 547

Benjamin Moore Country Green 540

I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if you have more questions, I'd be happy to help.
