basement

I want to paint my basement walls
a beige -
I LOVE the way Black Doors look right now and want to find a color that compliments that as well as my "woodlike" floor which is a warm brown with rosy tones in it/
I am not sure which way to go- Tan , , warm or cool?
I want it to feel cozy but classic and somewhat rustic in feel
Any thoughts on a color?

Hi....
I agree - fab black accents will add drama to any room.....and I'm so excited to hear you are willing to paint your doors!! Very chic!
Don't worry about matching the black....black will go with anything! I would look for a warmer beige tone to complement the red/rosey tones in your flooring. Take a look at Benjamin Moore's Bleeker Beige (HC-80) for a solid, not too dark beige. If you want a little more daring color, try Huntington Beige (HC-21).
Please post an after photo for me too! Dying to see how it all turns out!!!!!
Take care,
Cecilia
