Color dilemma

Why is Dunn Edwards color light sprinkles looking so minty on my walls? How can I tone it down

Hello,

That's a great question. It's hard to know why a color behaves a certain way without seeing the room in person. This color appears as a gray, but is actually a very neutral gray-green. Assuming the color has been dry for a few days, it's possible that something in the room is contributing to the minty look.

The green in this color may not be apparent when looking at a color swatch, there could be surfaces in the room that are contributing to the minty cast, from cabinetry to carpet. Even foliage outdoors can affect color during the day, or even the lightbulbs at night can bring out undertones.

I don't have a suggestion for toning the color down, other than checking your lighting, and repainting with a color you've sampled in the room for a few days.

Thank you,
Diana

Thank you Diana, i appreciate your answer. I will evaluate all of the possible contributing elements.
