Aqua to coordinate with BM's Riverdale Green?

Hi all, I'm painted the walls in a bedroom with Riverdale Green. I'd like to paint some accent furniture and accessories in a variety of aquas...from pastel aqua to bright turquoise. I'm struggling choosing aquas that will work well with the Riverdale Green. If you can help with some color suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you've created a fun and fresh color palette idea with Benjamin Moore Riverdale Green. I think I have a good idea of the look you're hoping to achieve.

In working with green aqua or turquoise, my thought is to choose one color that you like the best with the green, then vary the other colors by choosing lighter and darker shades of the aqua or turquoise. Because there is so much variance between different aqua and turquoise colors (some read more green, some more blue,) keeping the accents monochromatic is going to look more put-together, and much easier to accomplish.

I am going to suggest colors that could work as your main accent color. Once you sample it in your home with the existing light and color, you can choose the varying shades of that color (I will indicate the numbers of each color's varying shades for your convenience.)

I hope this is helpful. Please reply to this comment if you any questions.
