If I'm understanding your question correctly, you've already painted the walls in Blair Gold? In my experience, if you've lived with the paint for a few days, and it still feels too dark, then you'll need to paint again in a lighter color. It may take a few coats if you're going dramatically lighter, but to my knowledge there is no practical way to lighten paint once it's on the walls. You'll want to test the new color before committing it to the wall -- as well as test to see how much you'll need in order to cover the darker color.
