Hi! Great question! It would be great to have a fun, but neutral color in the room if possible, as it will appeal to more buyers and their kids. Many times buyers have a hard time imagining their little boy in a pink room, and vice versa. And, some buyers may be seeing the room as an office or guest room.

You might try sampling Benjamin Moore: Grasshopper AF415; Harbor Haze 2136-60 (I used this in a client's teen room and it was amazing;) or Ralph Lauren: Parchment NA49. You'll want to avoid colors that have a lot of yellow, because of the blonde wood.
