Benjamin Moore Briarwood http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/107363_Benjamin-Moore-Briarwood has a slight green undertone, compared to the Benjamin Moore Waynesboro Taupe http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/4979_Benjamin-Moore-1544-Waynesboro-Taupe, which has a bit more gray. Both could work with the Benjamin Moore LInen White, though the Waynesboro Taupe seems to be a better match.
I like the idea of using either Benjamin Moore Gargoyle or Iron Gate for the shutters. The darker of the two would be a nice contrast with the taupe color.

My exterior is stucco in linen white; gutters, fascia, soffit and windows are white. The roof is weathered wood. I am looking for color ideas for the window trim and shutters and doors. I like the craftsman look.

taupe colors
I have a linen white stucco house. I would like to use taupe for the window trim. How is briarwood and waynesboro taupe different? Is there another shade of taupe that would look better with linen white? I was thinking of using iron gate or gargoyle for the shutters. What shade of blue would go with these colors (for the door)?
