living room

I have a red coach in my living room along with one wall of wood built ins and I am not sure what color to paint the other 3 walls, only one wall is full size the other 2 are 1 has windows with beige vertical blinds and the other one has a wood closet and another wood framed built in. I was considering a medium to light brown (taupe)

Hello,

Thank you for your question. I agree that a taupe color could work well in your living room. I'm not sure of the wood color of the built-ins or trim, so I can suggest neutral colors that might work with many types of wood tones.

You can also consider a neutral with a bit of a warm yellow/gold undertone, depending on the wood in the room, and the flooring. You'll want to sample any color you're considering, as other factors can influence how the paint looks in the room.

Here are colors to consider:

Benjamin Moore Monroe Bisque HC-26 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/5990_Benjamin-Moore-HC-26-Monroe-Bisque (this is a great color that works in a variety of settings.)

Benjamin Moore Bleeker Beige http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/6021_Benjamin-Moore-HC-80-Bleeker-Beige

Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter HC-172 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/102897_Benjamin-Moore-HC-172-Revere-Pewter

Benjamin Moore Huntington Beige HC-21 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/5986_Benjamin-Moore-HC-21-Huntington-Beige

Benjamin Moore Philadelphia Cream HC-30 http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/102904_Benjamin-Moore-HC-30-Philadelphia-Cream

Hope this is helpful,
Diana
