I have some ideas for you on colors that might work in your living room to lighten it up, while making that dark trim pop. Here are some Benjamin Moore colors to test: Hampton Green 2150-50; Pale Celery 2150-60; Abingdon Putty HC-99; Honeymoon AF-345; and Citrine AF-370.

Paint color suggestions
I have a ranch style home and the ceilings are a little on the low side.The kitchen, dining and kiving rooms are all open. We currently have yellow in the kitchen and dining and brick red in the living room. The living room is way to dark. I want something that with make my dark trim pop.
