Hi,
Here are some ideas to consider. By looking at your picture your home has a monotone scheme. Considering your tight budget, paint your shutters red for now the reason being to add an accent. Red shutters can definitely add a new look for a low budget fix. Once you have the budget paint the body of your home green and change out the shutters once you get to that point.

need help choosing exterior paint colours
Hi,
This summer we were thinking of painting the shutters (unless we remove them and just put some nice trim around the windows), the existing trim, garage, railings, etc. on our house. Not sure what colour to pick. I don't like the main body colour of the house either, but I don't think we'll have the time or money to paint that this year. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!
