I would recommend to go with light painted neutral walls and blue cupboards The reason being your floor is a dark color and contrast of color will define your space making it more appealing visually creating a balance versus a dark cabinet with a dark floor.

For now experiment with these combinations of neutral and blues. Remember to keep it simple. It is a matter of process and elimination. Sample all color. Please note surfaces and lighting affects how color reflects.

Hello and thank you for this. It makes me feel I'm on the right track. I've never seen that colour series. I'm more familiar with HC, CC, etc (and have many of those chips at home). What do you think of something like CC740 Labrador blue and CC220 Wheat? Another question: what would you recommend for colour, for a counter top? We are going with a regular stainless steel sink. Thanks again.

The Benjamin Moore colors you selected will work fine. If you have stainless steel appliances go with a black granite counter top. If not go with a neutral shades darker than wheat.
