Hi Ron, I am sorry you had this experience. The Garage Guard is a two part epoxy paint. When you mix the hardening catalyst into the can you are starting the drying process, so as you learned, once this is done the paint will harden within a few hours even if you put the lid back on.
Who told you to mix the second can?

HI,I am presently in the process of painting my garage floor,I purchased 3 gallons of your product GARAGE GUARD,I read the information and the coverage is 250 to 300 sq. ft. I needed enough to cover 480 ft. I was told i could mix a second can to have enough coverage and i could have plenty for second coat.One gallon covered first coat and rest set overnight what was left in first can and full second can I AM NOT PLEASED WITH WHAT HAS TAKEN PLACE.I PURCHASED 3 GALLONS TO PUT AT LEAST 2 COATS ON. WHAT I MEAN BY SET IS IT SOLIDIFIED OVERNIGHT. THANK YOU, RON
