KITCHEN WALL COLOR

MY COUNTERTOP IS BLACK GRANITE WITH THE BACKSPLASH AND FLOORS BEING A TAN/BROWN TILE AND CABINETS ARE CREAM. WHAT COLOR WOULD BE A GOOD MATCH ON THE WALLS?

Hi,

A good color to use, taupe or red:

Fairview Taupe HC-85

White Knight Paint Cherry Red

For one a red would be a good accent color for your kitchen to use on your walls considering everything is cream/tan/brown/black.

As for the Fairview Taupe not sure of your lighting situation in your kitchen this color can go well with the tan/brown tile and back splash. Since there are a lot of variations of tan/brown tiles it is a bit of a challenge to determine the exact match with out a photograph.

Color is a process of elimination. Hopefully this should guide you into the right direction.

Sincerely,

Maria Anna K.

Thank you, could a blue/ greyish blue work? I thought I sent pictures, I will try to attach to this comment

Hi,

Stay away from the greyish blues you have warm undertones in your tile. Here are three blues to consider. More deeper and richer true to the real color blue. These blues work best with browns.

Benjamin Moore Colors

Van Deusen Blue HC-156

Newburyport Blue HC-155

Hale Navy HC-154

I have not seen any attachments yet. I will wait for your picture. If you are satisfied with the new colors let me know. My response will be in 24 hours.

Sincerely,

Maria Anna K.
