Hi,
The choice to paint the ceilings to match the walls is really a personal preference. If the wall color is darker, I'll often suggest using a lighter version of the wall color, on the ceiling. Because you'll be using a lighter wall color, I think that it would be entirely appropriate to use that color on the ceilings, or a traditional ceiling white. The wall colors you're considering would also warm the room up if used on the ceiling.
Hope this is helpful,
Diana
Thanks again Diana for all your advise it's invaluable
:)
Ps I would like something light and neutral as it will be going throughout the whole house.
I like Elmira White, HC-84. Little creamy beige, just enough tone.Oh, Benjamin Moore
Great suggestion, Linda.
Here is the link to Elmira White so you can see it. Like the other light colors, it may appear darker on the monitor: http://www.myperfectcolor.com/en/color/6024_Benjamin-Moore-HC-84-Elmira-White

Hi, I'm looking for a neural/white? Color to go with my new flooring. It is through out the whole house. I did think of stowe white but it seems to take on a green tinge, please help :(
Hi,
The Bursa Beige marble is gorgeous. Here are a few light and neutral colors to sample for your home. It's great that you tested the Stowe White, as colors can take on a different personality once on the walls.

Benjamin Moore Misty Air OC-44

It's possible that the green tinge you're seeing is from the light coming in on the walls. Just a touch more color can often make a difference, so I've suggested light neutrals with a bit more color.
Hope this helps!

They seem very nice colors although a lot darker then I was hoping for. It's a beach house with lots of light north facing but a little dark facing south. We r on the ocean....southern end of Australia facing Antarctic although a long way away lol ( in Victoria) thank you so much thou but anything a little lighter?
Hi,
They look a little darker on the computer screen than they do on the fan decks. A few are from the off-white collection, which is quite light. I'm going to take a look at a few more colors closer to white for you, and post them shortly. If you're on the ocean, that could be why you're getting a bit of a green tinge on the lighter color Stowe White, that you tried. Let me see what I can find for you.
Thanks,
Diana
Here are few more colors. These are almost white, though they may appear darker on your monitor, so you'll want to sample the colors.

Oh thanks so much Diana, yes I love the marble white the best and I will get a sample. Thanks for all your research much appreciated.
Hi, can anyone tell me if I could choose the sample color for my kitchen as the walls? The walls are Stowe white. The trims are nature white. I was thinking of a kick board of new Barron? Please help
Sorry I mean the same color for kitchen as walls or should I introduce another color? I do like neural colors best. Any ideas?
Hi,
Because of the counter top and cabinet colors in a kitchen, it's usually a great place to add more color on the walls. If I understand correctly, you have Stowe White in the other areas of the house, and are considering something different, but neutral, in the kitchen? And are you considering a different color for the kick board, or would this be in addition to the new kitchen wall color you're considering?
If you have photos of the kitchen to upload here, that would be great. Or can you tell me more about the cabinets and counters in there? I'd be happy to suggest some nice neutrals to test in there that could work with the trim color and the Stowe White.
Thanks,
Diana
Thanks Diana, we haven't chosen the bench top yet. It will be a complete new kitchen. I'm thinking of painting the walls Stowe white as it seems the only color that goes with our marble beige floor. So I was wondering would u use the same color for the kitchen cabinets??????
Hi,
Okay, now I do understand the question better -- thanks! I would probably not paint the cabinets the same color as the walls. Have you considered white cabinets? That would be a beautiful, and classic, look. I would most likely choose a white similar to the trim color in the room, so it would contrast slightly with the Stowe White and the marble floors.
Hope this helps,
Diana
Yes, that helps so much,
thank you Diana
Ps sorry about the confusion, color always does that to me lol
I really like Dulux Stowe White and I'm wondering if Dulux Watsonia White will go with it?? Please help :(
Hi,
I'm assuming that you'd like Dulux Stowe White as a wall color, and you're asking if Dulux Watsonia White will be good for a trim color?
Dulux Stowe White is a beautiful light neutral:

Viewing the two colors, they seem to be a little close to be wall trim. Have you considered a sampling a lighter trim with the Stowe White? The key will be sampling the trim color, as it's hard to know how a color with look with the other until they're next to each other.

Dear Diana,
Thank you so much for your advise. I'm off to buy the sample pots. You answered my question completely correct, I was after the trim colour...Thank you.
I'm trying to marry these colours up to a marble floor which is called "Bursa Beige Marble", what do you think? Any more advise would be greatly appreciated. :)
will watsonia white and stowe white go together?
