Rustoleum 223081 Qt Magnetic Specialty Paint is acrylic-based and turns virtually any interior surface into a magnetic surface. Goes on easily and is washable. Resists spattering during application. Dries to a dark gray finish that can be painted over with any color. Soap and water clean-up. Dries quickly.

The paint contains minute iron filings, making magnets stick to the surface. For best results, plan on doing 4 or more coats.
Works well under Benjamin Moore 30780 Qt Studio Finishes Chalkboard Paint Black so you can create a chalkboard that wil hold magnets!
