Each fan deck strip shows a base color (the largest top chip), the trim color (the middle chip), and the accent color (the smallest chip at the bottom). For exterior combinations, you would use the base color as the main color for the walls, the trim color for door, windows and baseboard moldings. And the accent colors would be used to feature an aspect of the room or an accent wall. For interior combinations, you would use the base color as the main color for the house, the trim color for trim around doors, windows and along the roof line. And the accent colors would be used on doors and shutters.
However, all three colors coordinate, so you can select any one of the colors as your base, trim or accent color.
