worst color I ever picked |

I always have had luck in picking colors, but my luck ran out with dorset gold. The minute I started to put this on the wall, I knew it was all wrong. But like a dope I continued anyway thinking it will look better when it drys. It never happened. This color changed dramatically with different lighting conditions. In good daylight, the color kept reminding me of a yellow cab or school bus. In my hallway at night this color made it look like a dark dungeon. It looked like a deep dark orange/yellow color. Maybe this color works in some homes, certainly not mine. I would highly recommend getting one of those 2oz jars of this paint and do a small area on your wall and look at it at different times of the day and night before purchasing it. Otherwise you'll have to do what I had to do which was put two coats of zinsser 123 primer to block out the deep yellowish color for repainting.
